Sillavan Metal Polishers is the largest independent polisher in the UK. We have the capacity to polish the heaviest, widest, longest, sheet and plate products. The company achieved BS 5750 accreditation in 1987 and upgraded one year later to I.S.O. 9002. We currently work to the latest I.S.O. 9001.

Our plate polishing capacity extends to 10,500 Kg piece weight, 13 metres long and 5 metres wide. The finishes applied range from coarse ground right through to bright polish. Plates are pre-ground to remove the coarse surface and defects before being taken through to the finish required by the customer.

Sillavan Metal Polishers introduced the Circle and Stripe finishes on cold rolled sheet to the UK some 20years ago, but perhaps the most famous of our polishes is Sillavan’s 240/S, the standard in the industry for a ‘clean-cut’ finish.

Bright and Superbright are synonymous with superior quality highly reflective polished finishes. Exceptional polishes are applied to pieces up to 4M x 1.5M x 6mm thick.

Our ability to produce consistent, high quality finishes, backed up with certified measuring equipment where necessary, has won Sillavan Metal Polishers many prestigious contracts.
